Novels
My works have some heavy subject matter in them, but most important, my soldiers get a happy ending. I write about the military I love because our soldiers and their families have so many stories to tell. I can only hope I do them justice. Excerpts coming soon!
Army captains Sean Nichols and Tracy Anderson have old and unsettled anger between them. Both of them have served in Iraq and both have come back changed. As circumstances throw them together again, how will they deal with the scars the war has left on them?
Sergeant First Class Shane Garrison is a warrior in Iraq. When he's seriously wounded by an IED, he must face his weakness and accept help from an unexpected source.
Burning Out
Captain Claire Montoya is tough as nails. She has to be. She patrols the streets of Baghdad daily as a military police officer. And when the war starts to leave its scars, Claire turns to an old friend and fellow captain Evan Loehr. But when the war gets to be too much, can Evan keep Claire from Burning Out?
Laura has been patient with Trent. She's waited for him to come home from war for nearly four years. But with no chance of Trent coming home, she decides to end her marriage. With the threat of losing his family, Trent will have to confront the issues he's been running from since his first firefight.
The Last Bastion
Lieutenant Melissa Armstrong was nearly laughed out of West Point for suggesting women be allowed to attend Ranger School. When she's assigned to an Infantry Company intelligence cell, she has to overcome the stereotypes of women in combat and prove herself to the one man who'd let her down when she'd needed him most.
A foray into Young Adult, the Nightmare Walkers is a departure from my normal works but something that pulls me just as strongly. There's something about a girl trying to find her place in High School that is too compelling to resist.
